Hostal Bonaterra

Free parking; easy to check-in.

We always leave very early, so we don't get the breakfast (though I am not even sure they offer one). Hostal Bonnaterra works great for us as it is right off the road, there are a choice of little places to eat, the gas station is on the way back to the autoroute, and there is a very affordable carwash there as well! Our car is always packed full, and the Hostal offers parking in a private parking lot, or often enough there are parking spots right in front. The safety of the area is remarkable. This time we left our car with most of the stuff in it, visible, parked on the street, and everything was there the morning we left. We took the most valuable things with us up to the room, but the relief to not have to upack and repack the car is a huge bonus. This is the third time we have stayed, and we will book for our return in August. The cost is really fair, the room is always clean with exactly what we need to freshen up, relax a little, and sleep in the cool. The walls are a little thin, but most people seem to do what we do, so we have never had an issue. The women who run it are kind and friendly, and you can tell it is a small, family business.

Great restaurant/bar. Perfect for a stopover on a long drive

Very good price for a very modern, clean room. It's spacious, good air con, excellent bathroom. A very good option if you need to stay overnight before or after a flight from Girona airport.

Clean simple no frills

Room matched the description well, very friendly check in staff and cleaning staff who visited every day to check if anyone wanted rooms cleaning or top ups of towels/ toilet roll etc. A nice plus is the great restaurant that’s part of the hostal complex, with excellent local food and well-kept beer. Friendly bars and cafes nearby (Frankfurt Osina, Bar Juria & El Pierrot Lunar). Only tip is very light sleepers might find the walls quite thin for noise - not a problem for me though, I slept easily and woke up well! Reccommended for the area.
