The best

The location is amazing, steps from the cathedral. The interior has a lot of character, decorated with antique furniture and paintings. Our favorite was the rooftop pool where you have an up close view of the cathedral tower and the rooftops of beautiful Seville.

The best

staff was friendly. We ordered twin bed and single bed for 3 people and the hotel owner could find for us a room with 3 separate beds. Good hot water available all day/night. Close to a lot of resturants and bars. 15 minutes walk from Puerto del sol.

To be improved

Parking is expensive and none near the hotel. No garbage can in toilet. No bath (shower only).

The best

Central location, very good restaurant in front of the hostal (you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner). Room cleaning was done every morning. Good price and decent conditions. Very late check-in was accepted, as I had to cancel a previous booking.

To be improved

Relatively small room and bathroom, but if you need only a place to sleep, it is ideal.

“Basic accommodation, in a good location”
The best

The property is located in a quiet area, close to the Prado museum. It has a lift to the 2nd floor, where the reception area is located, is walking distance to Plaza Mayor, and there is a good range of eateries nearby. The property is clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The air conditioner provided relief from the high temperatures in Madrid while I was there.

To be improved

Limited communication from managers prior to arrival meant I had no instructions about how to enter the property. Fortunately, other people arrived at the same time and I followed them to the reception area. While the hostal is in a quiet area, the noise isolation inside was an issue for me. My first room, located near the busy reception area, meant I could hear the phone ring, every conversation, and people checking in and out. Overnight, I was woken by loud walking (stomping) from the apartment above (a private residence). I asked for another room, and was moved to a smaller room on the first floor. While quieter, I was offered no discount. Overall, I would say my experience was not good value for money.
