“Enchanting river resting spot”
The best

The staff was very accommodating. I had a broken hair dryer, and the owner/host got one from his home, after not being able to repair mine. The staff will also microwave items for hostal guests who have purchased something at the nearby grocery store. The best thing about my room, though, was the view over the roaring river. I loved having my window open to have the sound lull me to sleep. The room was very comfortable, large enough, and had a good bathroom. I had one of the best nights of sleep on my 35+ days on the Camino.

To be improved

I felt cold the day I arrived and asked if the heaters were turned on, and was told yes. However, I could not get any heat even with them cranked all the way open. I mentioned this to the host the next morning and he explained that the hot water system (for showers) and the heaters are shared, and if many people take a hot shower, the heaters may not generate heat until the water is reheated. At least that is what I understood from his Spanish (the hosts do not speak English).

“The Hostal was a short walk to the main square where the restaurants, cafes, and shops are situated. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming. The room was comfortable And it overlooked the river, which was most scenic.”

“Great Value & Close to the Camino”
The best

Great value. Able to store bikes and very close to the Camino (under 100m). Staff was super nice and were even patient with my medium level Spanish!

To be improved

Interior could use a little update but perfectly clean and nice accommodation.
