“Everything about Hostal Carrizo was fantastic and I will definitely advise visitors to stay there!”

There was no breakfast facilities but they kindly loaned me a kettle to make tea. The receptionist was wonderful and spoke English well. I knew Elda somewhat so I found the Hostal easily and parking was not very far away. The facilities in the room were great - even English language News on TV from the United States and UK! The shower was lovely and hot and the bed was big and comfortable. Elda is a great city with few tourists.

To be improved

A persistent problem in Spain is the ceramic floors, so no soundproofing. I am a light sleeper so should have asked for a top floor room. I was woken at midnight, 6am and 7am, every time the person above me got out of bed and walked on his ceramic floor.
