“Handy location but we wouldn't stay there again!”

The location is great as it is midway between the two shorelines. It is handy to the local restaurants, of which there are many to choose from. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Well, where do I start! Our first night was very annoying as the fitted sheet did not fit the bed and you ended up wrestling with the elastic. The bed itself needs a mattress change as it was lumpy and sagged in the middle. The next morning the staff changed over the fitted sheet. The room was rather small and the old window frames allowed the noise from the street into the room. The temperature light on the air conditioner was very bright, lighting up the whole room.

“Self check-in was super convenient. The room had everything we needed for a couple of nights. · Cons: Despite the efforts of the property (adding some chunky soundproofing to the large windows), our room on the ground floor next to the entrance was a bit noisy during the night and early in the morning. Perhaps picking a room in upper levels or on the back of the building could help if you are sensitive to this.”
