The communal kitchen is well equipped, offering good cooking facilities.
Located in a nice village, pleasant atmosphere.
Good value for the price considering the amenities and location.
The service was correct but the reception experience was poor.
A good place for a short stop with its unique charm.
The bathrooms were clean but lacked options.

I really loved Camarasa, near the river and the mountains, the hiking trails were great! And the accommodation was of a good standard for the price, was amazing to have a kitchen!
The man who books you in is terrifying, he even thumped on the table because I filled out a box on the official form incorrectly. And the check in took absolutely ages.

“A lovely authentic experience”
The people in the village are very kind, the hotel owners too in their own way, there is a very good bakery and a small supermarket with great cheese and fresh vegetables, the surroundings are great, we did many hikes
You have to be a bit adventurous; not everything is perfect, but the price is also good so just learn a little bit of Spanish, take your own coffee, tea and shower gel with you and relax and enjoy this nice place :)
“Very sufficient!”
Love that the kitchen is available and shared (though we didn't use the kitchen, no time to - maybe next time if we stayed longer). We had the topmost private room with private bathroom, and a balcony with small table and chairs with a view of the plaza, it was lovely. We could pick out constellations at night, the sky felt close. The room and bathroom were clean when we checked in. There is a ceiling fan in the room for when it gets warm. The wardrobe was ample enough for two. Checking out was easy, just open and hold the door to the street, and drop the keys in the box. We would stay there and choose the same room again.
It did annoy me that the light of the small TV mounted on the wall stays on even when it's not used. You might need a sleeping mask if you're sensitive to light when you sleep. Indeed you can hear conversation coming from the customers of the bar downstairs if they're loud enough, but luckily the people weren't that loud and it didn't bother us. You might need earplugs. Yes we would expect people in the hospitality industry to be friendly, and the host wasn't exactly chipper, but I wouldn't say he was mean or unfriendly - it's probably just his personality.
