“Lovely central stay”

The best

Hostal Colón was perfect for an easy, central stay in Cadiz. The family that runs the hotel was always available and went above and beyond to help out stay be comfortable. The building is located extremely centrally, making it the perfect location to get to see all the different zones of the historic center. The rooms are simple, well appointed and are a great place to get a good nights sleep. I highly recommend staying here.

To be improved

Could be difficult for people with mobility issues as there are steep stairs.

Location very close to old part of Cadiz. Wish would have know about walk close to water and lovely park.

To be improved

It was noisy at 3pm in morning. Sounded like deliveries were being made or garbage was being picked up.

“It was a wonderful stay. The accommodation is close to the beach and the old town, making it very centrally located. The staff were very friendly — despite our train being delayed, we were able to check in late without any problems, and they even sent us explanatory videos to guide us through the process. The hostal itself was very charming. We had a balcony in our room, air conditioning, and there’s a rooftop terrace available for guests to use. Although our bathroom was located outside the room, it was only a couple of steps away and about the same size you’d expect from a private one. All in all, it was a beautiful stay — in fact, we ended up extending it by one more night, which was also easily arranged.”
