Bed was a bit slanted but otherwise all good

Walls are paper thin, we were woken up with all sorts of noises throughout all hours of the night. We also felt unsafe that the front door did not lock.

Smelled humid No fridge

Unfortunately there were a few things that bothered us during our stay. One of the worst problems was the smell from the bathroom. Upon arrival, we noticed that the bathroom had a smell emanating from it which I suspect is from dirty drains. This smell was present on and off for the entirety of our stay, and at times it bordered on unbearable. This problem was exacerbated by the fact that the bathroom door was a sliding door that wouldn’t shut properly, it would always gradually slide open again. The room was very cramped with barely any room to even lay your luggage down. We also bizarrely had an issue with people trying to barge into our room? AT LEAST 4 times a day someone would rattle on our door handle trying to get in. I have no idea whether this was staff (we didn’t have the sign requesting cleaning on the door) or other guests, but suffice to say it was incredibly annoying and often gave us a huge fright. The wifi was also not very good.

Too remote located in a very local neighbourhood Good for business if you have a car Long distance to beach or town No reception after 2 pm , Could be by email or phone If Talamanca Beach was closeby why didn't reception tell us and provide a map?
