Hostal Cueva De Los Frailes

The hosts Marga and Gregorio were incredibly warm and helpful throughout the stay and made me feel at home! They were helpful with all the questions I had about the area and offered great recommendations. I was there to do family heritage research and they helped me connect with all the right people in Algamitas- going above and beyond! The rooms, kitchen and bathroom all kept very clean and in excellent new condition. I loved the organization of the kitchen with small baskets by room number for storing pantry and refrigerated food. Washing machine available on site in kitchen for free use. They had free WiFi that worked perfectly throughout the stay. The hostal is also next door to their coffee bar/restaurant and they had many delicious offerings available for purchase for breakfast/lunch/dinner. This is a favorite spot to eat for many of the locals. I hope to return to Algamitas someday and will definitely stay at Hostal Frailes again when I do!

Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Facilities were super including a washing machine for dusty cycling clothes and a secure garage for storing our bikes. Immaculately clean. Thanks for a fabulous stay..

A wonderful hostal: So clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The staff are fantastic. You can also get very good food from the bar too. Located in a small pueblo surrounded by hills and mountains.

I slept here with a partner in april 2025. The service was very good. A very kind man received us and showed us around. The appartement is probably recently renovated as it was very proper, including the kitchen. If you are there, definitely try the locus (cheese) cake, it is absolutely amazing. Furthermore, breakfast was good.

Everything was perfect, extremely clean and comfortable. A great place for those traveling by car or motorbike and wanting to visit the white villages of Cadiz and the Sierra de Grazalema
