Hostal Cuzco

Our host, Jaime , was very helpful. There was no hot water kettle in the room, He went out of his way to deliver a thermos filled with hot water so we could make ourselves some tea,/coffee as we got ready for the day. He went out of his way to find out how we could take a bus to Alba de Tormis and upon checking out he also called a taxi by phone to help us go to the bus station for our trip back to Madrid. Rare hospitality !

Location is genuinely perfect. When given to the taximan, he twigged immediately where it was, and guessed the Cuzco. That says something objectively. What I liked best was the quiet on such a busy corner, and the best supermarket just 2 corners away, like the famed tourist area. What surprised was have on staff, unusual in this type of accommodation and counter to the comments of others.

It was very local to a motorcycle showroom so I could get my rear tyre changed. The gentleman in reception was incredibly helpful with my check out letting me leave my luggage in reception whilst I collect my bike

Great location, clean room and very friendly staff. Bike parking a big plus 👍

Room overlooked the street which is exactly what I wanted for photos (I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal and Spain for several American magazines). Noise wasn't an issue with windows closed. Nothing fancy.

Super clean hotel with a spot to leave our bicycles . Perfect location to visit the city.
