While the reception staff were polite and helpful, that’s unfortunately where the positives end. This hostel has shockingly thin walls—you can hear everything from neighboring rooms as if it’s happening right next to you. Noise travels freely through the building, from people slamming doors to loud conversations in the middle of the night, with no regard for other guests. One night, a phone alarm went off repeatedly from 5:15 AM for nearly an hour, and it felt like it was in the same room. On top of that, the hostel is located on a busy main road, which is fine but the street noise pours in nonstop due to the poor sound insulation. If you value sleep, peace, or even basic comfort, hence very noisy, this is not the place for you. The noise situation is unacceptable and makes for a miserable stay. We absolutely do not recommend this hostel to anyone—unless you’re a very heavy sleeper or completely deaf, avoid it.

“The staff were very friendly and it was in a good spot in the town, not far from the train station and close to local cafes and supermarkets · Cons: It’s a couple of small things and it’s not that major and it is also sort of my fault but….the room was very hot (my fault for going to Spain at the end of July), but the ceiling fan in my room didn’t really help and the shower was very small, but still a lovely bathroom”
