“Moved to a room with a balcony from the 3rd to 5th night which was better.”

No balcony as requested. Room 106 was a very small, dark room with no natural light. Asked if we could be moved to another room with a balcony that we had paid for and expected. Receptionist told us there were no rooms available.. She was abrupt and unhelpful. We had to contact Bookings.com but still could not be moved.

“The location is great · Cons: The woman at the reception was very angry and basically screaming at us because we arrived at 14:00. She was stating that the check in is “after 14:00”, but could not answer the question if 14:05 is already after 14 or not. The second day she screamed at us again twice while we were sleeping because we did not put the sign “do not disturb” to the door. I mean, you open the door, you see people sleeping, just close the door and that’s it. Why do you need to scream? In the evening there is another male employee, he was very friendly. The room itself did not have a window that goes outside and it was quite difficult to breathe and to sleep. There was a okay-ish AC, but it did not help much”

Basic but very clean couldn’t be in a better location right in the heart of Barcelona Room even had a balcony
