They clean and organise the room but don't change the towels, and also only offer single beds

Location was perfect right next to market and 5 mins walk to the beach . We bought ham, cheese and bread daily from the market which was delicious.

Unfortunately; apart from the location, there was very little to like about this hostel.

I was in Spain for a medical emergency, my son fractured his spine in a pool accident. I booked for 7 days, as I wasn't sure how long I would need to stay. Despite leaving after only 2 nights the hostel wouldn't refund any of the costs. The staff showed no empathy for my situation and offered nothing except stock answers.

The best

The location, staff and extras. The lobby area was a great space with a microwave, cups, plates and a television. The hotel is situated right next to the market and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The town is even closer with approximately 5 minutes. There are so many aspects of Vila Joiosa close to the hotel. A special mention to Pedro who was extremely helpful prior to arriving and on arrival. Thank you.
