Hostal Gargal

We had the whole place to ourselves. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully equipped. It was a real bonus having the kitchen. There aren’t a range cooking facilities (other than a microwave) but it was great to be able to keep things chilled, have breakfast in the morning etc. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves - a real lusury after budget, chain hotels en route. Communication regarding the booking was a bit confused. I think Booking.com isn’t as quick as it used to be to forward messages so check-in was delayed. I had to phone the owners in the end. They were great and all went smoothly but I had to use a website to send booking information which was quite detailed. Not great if you don’t have internet access. We have a motorbike and parking was on the street outside the apartment. It was perfectly safe but it felt s little vulnerable. Just something to be aware of. A car would’ve been absolutely fine snd really convenient.

Super comfy bed and a quiet location made this the perfect place to stay for the night. The wifi was fast and check-in was super easy. Great place to stay if you are in the area (they also made sure I had a safe place to store my bike)
