It was dirty, no hot water at the sink for the entire stay and the water was leaking massively. The room was dark, with the windows at the street level. Additionally, our room adjacent to the laundry room and the washing machines were on until from 7am to 10pm. Old and decomposing furniture. The remote was holding the batteries with paper towels and tape and it didn’t work.

“Location, nothing more. · Cons: It looks different from the pictures. We should have room for two and we got room for three in the zero floor right next to the room with washing machine. The washing machine was on from 8 am to 9 pm, and was really noisy. The bathroom was dirty, doors were broken. Table was broken as well. The fridge is not part of the room, but it is in the reception. One of few bad reviews we had to give.”

“It was a great location as we had a convenient store near us, we were able to go to the main strip where the restaurants, bars and shops were. We were able to walk to the old centre / plaza to meet family and friends. It was a struggle going up the stairs and hills but that's common in Cuenca and you have to plan/time it around that. · Cons: The room was cleaned but we did find the smell of the chemicals a bit overpowering at times and had to open the windows to clear the smell.”

It was a great location as we had a convenient store near us, we were able to go to the main strip where the restaurants, bars and shops were. We were able to walk to the old centre / plaza to meet family and friends. It was a struggle going up the stairs and hills but that's common in Cuenca and you have to plan/time it around that.
