Location: If you are planning to visit Madrid, an Uber will cost you 20-25 Euros, or 40-50 Euros back and forth. I will consider a place in Madrid instead, since it is easier to get from Madrid to the airport using the metro. Facilities: Not suitable for people with allergies or sensitive to smells. I'm very sensitive to smells and always book places that look clean and do not allow smoking in the rooms. I noticed when I did the reservation that they asked if I wanted a room for smokers or no smokers, I selected Non smokers, but did not know that you could smoke inside a room in a commercial place. They have an ashtray in the room, which perhaps is the norm in Spain to allow people to smoke in the room. (Mental note: Next time a place offers Smokers / Non smokers rooms, run away from it!!) The first room smelled really bad to tobacco, as soon as I got in my eyes and throat felt it. I took all my stuff and went back to the reception asking to change my room, explaining I was allergic to tobacco. The clerk apologized, explained people may not follow the rules, and was polite. He changed my room, however, he gave me the room next to the first room, which has a little less odor, but did not apply any deodorant. After he left, I tried to unpack and as soon as I turned the AC on, the smell got stronger. (Perhaps they shared the same ducts and AC machine). I was too tired to walk to the reception again with my stuff and ask for another room, so I dropped my luggage and left the place to spend as little time as possible there. When I returned I had to open the window to let fresh air in. I spend the night with rhinitis, barely resting. I left to the airport the next day as soon as I could. This was the worst night of all my trip.

A little bit dated and no sound proofing but to be honest it was to be expected for this type of accommodation.

Can't really say. There was nothing to not like.

Only one complaint: toilet position puts my knees into the shower door.
