My room had a heavy humidity problem. There was mold on the wall. The bathroom had faint red fingerprint markings and the door sill. The biggest problem was the mold though, and the strong smell of it. The rest was okey-ish for the price I guess.

“Good value for your money”

The best

Small room, but very clean and comfortable. The bed was jut the right size for one person; could do with an extra pillow, but that's just my personal preference. Lots of closet space to fit all my belongings and more. Really spacious bathroom.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic for a music event we attended at the Palicio Vistalegre. Literally a 5 minute walk, surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. On site parking was well worth the €18 charge for the night.

To be improved

There wasn’t anything we didn’t particularly like, I just thought the price for the Sunday evening was a little high for the standard of accommodation. Nothing wrong with the accommodation at all, it was clean and nice, just no frills. A mirror in the bedroom (not just the bathroom) would have been good. However, I was willing to pay it for the location for our needs.

All the photos online are not true. The garage looks as if you can park many cars when in fact you can barely fit 3 seat 600's inside. The challenger 260 RV has more room than the room we were in. My kitchen is larger than the room. The aircondition did not work. It only blew air like a fan. I paid 70 euros per night for a hotel in Valencia that was 4 time larger. The Hostal is severly overpriced. I feel for paying almost 150 euros per night it would be much larger and with everything working.

“The room was fantastic and daily cleaned. The bed was magical, we have slept so good every night. Central Madrid is reachable easy and fast. There are plenty of foodstores, bakeries and restaurants. Great basis for visiting the city. · Cons: They do not answer to emails or messages. Staff is a bit cheerless.”
