The hosts, Luis and Maria Antonia were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. They made us feel like part of the family. It is very good value compared to other places that we have stayed in recently It is situated in a great location; a 5 minute walk from the Dali museum and from La Rambla.

The shower was a bit small.

The best

La Barretina is run by a couple who have hospitality in their bones. What it lacks in size of rooms or luxury is made up by their willingness to connect and provide assistance. They also have a range of the best herbal teas available. Unusual for Spain.

To be improved

The street below my bedroom could be a bit noisy. But it did not disturb my sleep and is a small price to pay for being in the centre of things.
