The best

Very clean comfortable hotel inside the walls at lower end of village. The lady owner was lovely and very helpful. Good sized room and bathroom with bath as well as shower. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good especially the coffee

To be improved

Car parking is very limited close to hotel. Spaces in the street by the hotel seem to be for residents only and required a permit. A nearby payment car park had only a few spaces and these were full. Free car parking was available midweek at the top of town in larger car parks behind the castle - but 600m to 1km walk away uphill

The best

A very generous and tasty breakfast and a lovely and spotless hotel with an excellent host made for a great stay. We really enjoyed our one brief night at La Muralla and would definitely stay again. Great location and we were made to feel very welcome by Elena who was wonderful from start to finish. Thanks a lot
