“Excellent well run hotel, great staff and perfect location on the front overlooking the harbour/port”
Well run efficient small hotel. Great communication once booked and before arrival. The two reception ladies were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were very good too, changed towels every day. The Location on the front overlooking the port was wonderful. Near to the main shopping street, the old town, the 2 beaches, castle, train station, bus station and market so the location couldnt be better. Very reasoanbly priced for a week stay in July compared to booking an apartment. The rooms were comfortable, great to have air conditioning. Nice to have a TV even though it only showed spanish channels. Good free wi fi. Plenty of storage and space for your cases etc. Small juliet style balcony. Denia is a fabulous town, bustly but not a party town. Lots of shops which stay open late until about 11 pm. Market day is on Monday up by the bus station. There is also a fruit and veg market on Fridays. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars around the town. Dakotas in the pedestrianised street where the Friday market had a wonderful bfast menu. Several big supermarkets around the town with good bakery sections. The castle is great to look round, only 3 euros per person - they only take card though, not cash which seemed to catch a few people out. There were several concerts at the castle but these didnt start till 11 pm which seemed excessively late to us.
It would be nice to have a fridge in the room, especially in the hot weather. It would be nice to have a safe and tea and coffee facilities although this was not a major problem for us. The walls of the rooms like most hotels were a little thin so you could hear the occupants of the people next door talking etc.. Luckily guests coming and going seemed to be very quiet. Shame that the hotel does not provide bfast. It would be nice if the restaurants right outside the front door had a bfast deal with the hotel, Im sure most people would use this facility. But there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the town serving bfast and there are several large supermarkets nearby so we bought pastries, yoghurt and fruit most days and took that to the beach. It would be nice to have more direct buses from the airport. There seem to only be 3 or 4 a day which means hanging around the airport for several hours once you land. This time we got a bus into Benidorm and then got the train along the coast to Denia although the train is very slow .........
“Close to the beach, the night market and restaurants”
Travelling with my mom. The room was small but the air con was heavenly when it is 38 degrees. The person who checked us it was lovely.
“Location, value for money, comfortable room and such warm, friendly and helpful staff make this accommodation a great pl”
Have stayed before and thought was great! Excellent location at port close to lots of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants as well as the beach! Comfortable room, nice bathroom and good air con. Really good value for money. Staff so friendly and helpful!
Nothing at all!
“Pleasant stay :)”
Its location and staff were great!
Beds could have been more comfortable.
“Third stay. No problems.”
Third time of staying. It is classed as a Hostel, but is really a nice family run small hotel. The rooms are very clean and have A/C (warm and cool). Very close to ferry terminal and shipyard ( my destination). Very friendly staff. Good price. Hot water at good pressure. Good WiFi. Tip: Ask for a room at the back, as it avoids the heat of the sun and is quieter. Payment can be by credit card.
Visitors note that parking is a bit tricky if you are bringing a car. You need to drive around a bit, depending on the day of the week and time of day. There is no breakfast or evening meal option as there is no dining room, but there and many different eating places very close by. Note the reception is not 24 hours, so allow plenty of time to get there.
