“Excellent family-run hotel/restaurant, but no Tuesday guests!”

This is an excellent small, rural hotel. Virtually nothing to complain about and a good value at 35€ (single, early May, no breakfast). My very pleasant room lacked only a refrigerator but the staff was willing to store my perishables for me. They speak adequate English. The mobility-impaired should note there is no elevator. Wi-fi was very good. The owners are Argentinian and the downstairs restaurant offers really good Angus beef burgers, among other things. Breakfast is available there, too. The environment of the small village is very quiet. Although the property's statement about gated, private parking for a fee is accurate, there is also plenty of free street parking, even immediately adjacent to the building. I have only one complaint, the entire hotel is closed on their rest day, NOT just the restaurant. This is the first lodging I've ever encountered where the guests all have to leave Tuesday morning. This restriction isn't relevant for most bookings, because you can't reserve a Tuesday room online, but woe to the traveler who likes it so much they decide to extend their stay into Tuesday, which was my situation. By 10 AM, I was out on the street, needing to hastily book a new place.

“Great value hostal, wonderful staff, in beautiful small village.”

This hostal is situated in a very beautiful, quiet, small mountain village (Salduero), with lovely walks by the River Duero, and easy access to walking/cycling routes in the surrounding forests and mountains. Like many such villages, it is very quiet in winter, but pretty busy in summer. The hostal itself is very comfortable, clean and pleasant, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. It has a good bar/restaurant with a beer garden at front. Also, a private car park. Very recommendable.

“A lovely location in a quiet village with beautiful scenery and roads near by”

The best

This is located in a beautiful area and village with great walks nearby. The hotel has safe parking and good facilities. Staff were great and looked after us very well even keeping food available when we arrived later. Simple bar with reasonable food and wine and many many beers!
