“It’s fine for the price, though it could’ve been better”

Sink and shower in your own room. Great location next to the metro and museums. Relatively clean. Elevator access to the hostel. Generally fine.

To be improved

You have to share 1 toilet with the entire hostel. The smell of the cooking by the owners was atrocious in the hallways. Old bed and furniture. You are woken up early every morning to the loud sound of TVs, and the people next to you during the night are loud. Room can get hot at night.

The apartment was very clean and in a great location, the hosts were very friendly.

If you plan to work from the accommodation, you won't be able to because the WiFi is really bad and you don't have a signal on your phone, so you can't even use your internet. Our apartment was facing the inner part of the building and maybe that's why we didn't have telephone signal. We also had problems with noise because from early in the morning the TV is on and some series is being watched in the hostel, plus the people from the surrounding apartments were loud. We definitely didn't have enough sleep.

Staff was really nice and always able to help on anything we requested. Great location. Subway just near the corner. A lot of restaurants and cafeteria near by.

To be improved

The room is small for 2 people, but if you will be there only to sleep and not to spend much time inside the room, you will be ok.

Easy to get to and very accommodating host. we got in very late following unexpected arrival in Madrid as we needed to fly home earlier than expected Room was small but clean and quiet Lift available shower nice and hot
