I loved the Hostal staff, they were all very lovely. I also loved the location as it was quite easy to get to places and plenty of food options nearby. I stayed in room 11 which was lovely, had a mini fridge and a private bathroom (I’m 5” and can confirm I fit okay in the shower and had some space to move around). Although the air conditioning wasn’t working, the ceiling fan kept the room cool.

To be improved

I do agree with other comments about the noise, I stayed in room 11 which was right in front of all the ambulances, It tended to be really noisy from like 9-10PM till midnight/one am, but pretty much quiet at other times. Unfortunately as I was literally about to leave there was a cockroach between me and the door, which I told the receptionist about.

The best

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and appreciated the excellent connectivity — just a short walk to the metro, which made commuting very easy. Upon arrival, I was informed the air conditioning in my room was not working (communicated only the night before), and I was offered a smaller room with an external toilet as an alternative. While not ideal, the staff on site handled the situation proactively and professionally, and the owner kindly offered a discount, which I greatly appreciated. The hotel also provides useful shared amenities like a fridge, microwave, and free tea and coffee — very convenient for a business traveler. Overall, the experience was positive thanks to the attentiveness and kindness of the team.
