“Poor communication and slow check in, terrible value for money”
Great location and huge comfy bed. Room was clean. Bar staff and cleaners were friendly
I stayed here for my birthday and specifically requested the highest floor. Turns out there are 3 floors and I was put on 1 even though I arrived before my check-in time. I'm grateful, that on my birthday, they checked me in at 2 instead of 3 so I could meet family and enjoy my day BUT even though I'd written to ask about parking noone replied so I'd parked far away and had to pay for the privilege Also, I was allocated a room without a view when I'd requested a sea view. Finally I was allocated a sea view but in an adjoining room so I could hear a couple having sex through that thin door and had to use another key and cross the hallway to use the private bathroom that I'd paid for The cleaner, on my last morning, cleaned that bathroom even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign up and I slipped over on the soaking floor and was trying to wash my beach stuff out before flying home with their cleaning cloths etc in there Finally, the hot drinks machine is switched off directly at 10:00 so if you want a tea after you've consumed breakfast, forget it! I wasn't even told about breakfast so missed the first out of two days that I'd paid for The receptionist was absolutely dithering and on another planet upon check in. It took forever There were cockroaches in reception I wouldn't mind some of these factors if it wasn't a complete rip off No way will I stay here again The rooms were clean. The cleaners and bar staff friendly and locations great. Just check ALL details before you arrive.

“Basic hotel closed to the beach”
Good hotel with basic facilities and services. Very closed to the beach and with many restaurants and shops around. Staff is friendly and helpful, on check out day you can stay at the hotel and use the communal shower if you have a late flight.
Services and facilities are limited (no shower gel/shampoo, no mini bar/fridge, no beach towels provided). Breakfast is basic (English breakfast, fruit, coffee, juice). Rooms are noisy (can hear people talking, snoring, etc as if they are in your room).
“The greeting at the reception was amazing and all the staff were really nice. We loved the breakfast. It would be perfect if the pool was a bit bigger but overall it was a great stay.”

“Great Small Friendly Hotel”
I loved the location as it was just across the road from the beach. The pool was a very good size and not over crowded. Shops and bars so close by. The building was kept so clean. The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely so happy and polite. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day. The breakfast was great. Good selection of hot food including sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, toast and even fried bread some days which is my favourite. There is also a great selection of fresh fruit, ham, cheese, breads and pastries. The receptionist booked our taxi back to the airport for us and was super helpful with all our questions. I really liked how small and homely the hotel was. I've stayed in big hotels before and the friendly feeling this place has is much better. I especially liked that there wasn't live evening entertainment as I find that so boring. There was a quiz most nights but we didn't do that. We enjoyed the 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour 9-10pm though.
I was disappointed by how loud our room was I asked for a sea view room. But we were right above the bar and the main street (room 102). The music from Charlie's bar goes on very late and then people walking by at all hours drunk and shouting, I found it hard to sleep. I did say this to reception, and they did offer to move my room to a quieter room but I would then have lost my sea view and been moved far away from our son's room. So I declined. The reception staff were very helpful but I found one of the waitresses very rude. She was thin with lots of tattoos and made it clear she didn't want to be there. I don't appreciate that when I am trying to enjoy a pleasant relaxing breakfast. I think it would be beneficial if rooms had fridges. I know it's not essential but it is nice to keep water and drinks cold in the room.
