“The best option for short and solo trips”

The best

Great location, on one of the most touristy streets of Madrid. Despite this, it was quite quiet and comfortable, as my room window overlooked the courtyard. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. Good for a short trip if you are solo. I really liked the staff. They even offered cleaning (I was there only 2 nights). It was better than I expected. I can totally recommend!

To be improved

- The WiFi wasn't very good. - The sound insulation was poor. - No breakfast.

It's a little bit annoying to have to leave the keys at the reception before going out and also to ring a bell when you come back Only one small window with no sunlight, so no natural light was in the room

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - 7 minutes from the old city center. Being on a pedestrian walkway, there was no car traffic noise. Entering the building was confusing. The main entrance was unlocked, but interior entrance was not marked as to where to check-in. We were just floundering in an apartment hallway. We went to the first (2nd) floor, but there was no signage. Eventually, we ran into someone who pointed us to ring a bell and the friendly staff quickly checked us in. The room was quiet, and AC worked fine. It did pull in cigarette smoke from outside the building. The beds were simple but did not provide much support. The room was very clean, and the bathroom fixtures were modern and very clean.”
