The couple at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, patient with my poor Spanish.

It was 8 floors up with a line to use the 4 person elevator. The rooms they show on the site that look new and refurbished with a view were not our experience. We had a room with a view of the 8 floors below, crappy linoleum floor, old paint and old incredibly basic bathroom. The walls were so thin that I could hear someone coughing. There is a bar on the 9th floor. Dramatic bartender mixing drinks but poor service, not good food and we left when the smell of a backed up toilet wafted through. For the price of $230+, for one night, I expected much better with less ' creative photography ' re the room
