“Great location and very clean”
The best

I’ve never stayed in a hostel in this area before but I was pleasantly surprised. My room, a king size bed, a little seating area and en-suite (room 9). The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious, with air conditioning and towels provided. Hostal Moscatel is a 10 minute, holiday walking pace, to El Palo beach and only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop for Malaga. I would definitely stay here again!

“The hostal is in a good neighbourhood, we always found parking place nearby. The staff was kind and helpful. · Cons: We would recommend to put a small refrigerator in the rooms. A renovation would be needed, especially for the bathroom. We saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom.”

The location is wonderful, beach is within walking distance and there is an excellent bus service into Malaga. El Palo is nearby and this is a lovely little area full of interesting bars, shops and fish restaurants. The hostal is clean and the beds comfortable but much more than this is the attention to detail. We had a lovely coffee machine in our room! I would be happy to recommend this modestly priced hotel to friends. Super helpful staff.

The best

the room and bathroom were clean. the location is great, quiet and one bus ride away from the center. Its really close to the beach. A lot of places to eat around, and there are a lot of bars on the beach. People working there speaks English which is a nice bonus.

To be improved

There was an issue with entering the hotel since we arrived late. They gave us a code for the front door that didn't work, but there was an emergency number which we called and solved the issue instantly.
