“A basic overnight rest stop on the motorway. With no frills”

The location with direct access to the motorway was brilliant. The room was comfortable once we turned on the radiator (radiator needs bleeding) The check in lady was pleasant. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

To be improved

There was no light in the shower, no menu in the cafe. We had booked to eat in the restaurant however, when we arrived we were told that only the food on the counter top was available and it had no description and looked unappealing. The lady serving really looked like she didn’t want to be there!

As traveling and it was a stop over disappointed that bar/coffee stopped at shut at 22.00 had to get a drink and take to room as they were cleaning around us
