Hostal Paulino

The walls are paper thin!! We could hear every word from the guests in the next room and their TV kept us up for hours. They have a major problem with noise at this Hostal and need to address it. The man who greeted us was also not friendly and kind of questioned us oddly as if we didn’t have a reservation. This is a fine one night stay maximum but bring good ear plugs!

There was no one to ask for Wi-Fi password or where to eat. The bar below didn’t start food until 9pm so we had a bit of a waiting

The headboards of our room where not fixed to the wall properly we had to remove them as everytime we moved they banged against the wall. Also I had pre advised I needed refrigeration for my dogs insulin and that we would collect at 8am the next morning and this was not possible until 10 am We had to put the insulin in the bar fridge downstairs not connected to the hostel. It all worked out but not very customer friendly.

Very cold room. It took almost all night to get warm.

Closed to a bar, a bit of noise but no problems in general.
