“Nice friendly hostel near supermarket and small town.”
The best

We stayed 2 years ago and the owners are exceptional. Such friendly kind people. Only few minutes walk to good bars and restaurants.

To be improved

Can't understand how we booked a ground floor room on Booking.com with 2 beds, bathroom with shower and bidet, microwave and fridge. Informed no such room on ground floor so ended up on 2nd floor. Not ideal as I have a bad knee. Room was good.

“Friendly, Comfy Inn. Great Value for a Night!!”
The best

Nice staff made me feel welcome in spite of our language barrier and the fact that there was a blackout and my booking could be confirmed. The inn was homey, I loved the hardwood floors and doors. Very clean and Marybeth brought me 24 hour candles to use since the power was out across Spain and Portugal! Decent breakfast worth the €6 upcharge.

To be improved

There was a bit of traffic noise, but I still got a good night’s sleep.

“Excellent service from friendly family run hostel.”
The best

Family who run hostel were so lovely especially the son Jesus. What a helpful polite young man. Helped us out when we had a problem. Breakfast was excellent good choice of products. Short walk into Gondomar although road quite busy and noisy. Parking either in street or carpark behind hostel.

The road noise but that can't be changed!
