Hostal Penalty

This hostel was dirty and our room smelt so bad! The owner made us pay 50€ because we forget our key in the room. Bad experience I don’t recommend it. I almost forget to speak about the breakfast... Plastic plates, bad coffee...

We slept well, staff was nice, the place is well situated. Citicism concerns the obsessive offering of single use plastic products. Soap, toothbrush, n paste, cups, breakfast on plastic plates. I feel like we created too much waste by sleeping and eating here. Its not nesseccary anymore and seems coutre.

Stayed a couple of nights. Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, location was awesome. Only disappointment was that the breakfast cafe did not have bacon for 2 days croissants or bacon or sausages on a Wednesday morning. 4/10 for breakfast. 7/10 for general experience.

My son really needed to go to the loo so we hopped in this ok looking hostel opposite of the FC Valencia soccer stadium. Little did we know of the filth we would encounter in the toilets. No toilet seats, no soap, no tp, but pee and poo everywhere. I'm very glad we didn't decide to have coffee or lunch here because if the hygiene in the toilets resembles that in the kitchen, one would surely leave with some sort of food poisining. Yugh.

beds were comfy wifi was perfect staff were great and free parking until October but it is right by the stadium so once the sport season is on you cant park there. “great value in a great location” fair price too.

Stay away from this hostel unless you don't care about the cockroaches, stinky bathroom and lobby, poor internet connection, etc, etc. . They also charge for coffee. Power in the room can only be turned on when you insert the the room key into the key slot.
