“Horrible, smell of cigarettes, we had to leave. We Left the Hostel — and Booking Still Took the Owner’s Side”

The room had a strong cigarette smell. We couldn’t stay and had to book another place. The hotel denied the issue and Booking refused a refund, very bad and strongly disappointing from booking.com and the hostal.

The best

Place was lovely! Nice and clean and reasonably priced. Staff were there to welcome us and messaged us right before our stay with tips for parking etc in the area.

To be improved

The closest parking we got was down at the port so be prepared for a 10 minute sweaty uphill walk if you’ve got suitcases with you. The location is nice though and there’s some restaurants and bars close for when you’re taking the nicer, returning, downhill route.

Clean and bright room with lovely terrace. Happy just to lie on the terrace watching the swifts fly past.

Beautiful guesthouse in a historic walled town. Full of charm and atmosphere outside, but newly renovated inside—modern, clean, and very comfortable. A special place to stay!

The best

It was nice and easy. We only stayed for a quick night and the hostal had everything we needed. A nice bed, clean bathroom and hot shower.

To be improved

Parking can be a bit challenging. But we managed to find a spot 10 min away walking.
