“Parking not far and free on street. Best coffee at Virolo!”

The best

The historical sites were right in our area. What a bonus! We enjoyed a courtyard out our window. The family running it were amazing in helping with whatever came up. Their daughter speaks English well! She helped with Spanish translation when getting a phone repaired at the best phone repair in Baeza, Spain at Repara Movil at 611 555 525.

Excess of undimmable very bright lights only one tiny bedside lamp. Leaky WC. Fake aroma. Not the best in a town with excellent choice of hotels.

“Good enough for short stays”

The best

- Basic simple bedroom, enough for one night. 2 beds, 1 TV, 1 night stand, 1 table, 1 (arm)chair, a wardrobe space with a few coat hangers, 4 towels, 1 shower mat, that’s it. (+ air con and wifi). - Soap and shampoo are available in the shower. No hairdryer directly in the room. - View on the main square and its surprisingly busy street

- Same day booking. The reception is unmanned and you need to call for someone to check you in. Our booking was not transferred internally to the one welcoming us which led to a bit of a confusing situation, but we eventually got the room. - Not the best soundproofing: besides all conversations people were having outside our door, we also could hear a fellow traveler snoring in another room. Luckily mild enough for us to sleep through the night. - Nobody at checkout (obs! at 11:00), so we dropped the card on the small counter. - Affordable but could be considered bit overpriced for the service (we found fully equipped flats in bigger towns for the same 50€)

The location was good, and the property owner was friendly at the arrival. The room was big

To be improved

The room smelled like smoke as if guests usually smoked there. It would not go with all windows open. I requested a quiet room but they set me in on lookint at the main plaza of the town, so it was extremely noisy.
