This is in a great location! I also liked that they were willing to store your backpack for you, if you no longer had a room and were on your way out. That helps out a lot for a backpacker!

To be improved

Dragging my suitcase up a flight of stairs. Every wall was white. I wish at least one wall was painted a color other than white. It just made the no smoking sign sear into my memory because there was nothing else to look at in the room but the white walls and the no smoking sign.

Location location location. The room size is ok for 2 people. The cost is high but we understand it's peak season and this is Barcelona. So basically it's a budget hotel.

To be improved

1. Wifi was a bit slow and sometimes won't work. 2. The shower had very low water pressure, which made it inconvenient to use.

“Perfect place to stay if just using for sleep and quick getting ready before seeing the city on your doorstep!”
The best

It was in a perfect location- central to all local transport, close to beautiful Gothic Quarter and plenty of nightlife options. Although in a busy area, we had no noise issues, which was great considering the hotel seemed busy with Primavera Sound! I liked that we dropped the key off each time we left, it meant no stress of worrying about losing keys and them getting stolen in a city notorious of pickpockets. Room was basic but clean and staff were friendly.

To be improved

For the price you’re paying for the location. The amenities are extremely basic and rooms are only cleaned every two days it seems. This is fine, but for a hot city where we showered multiple times and found our beds were getting sweaty overnight, more towels and sheet changing would have been nice :)
