“Nothing · Cons: The place was so dirty , poo marks in the toilets. Bedding looked like it had been used dirty and cressed . Couldn't stay there for 30 minutes and had to look for an alternative . Staff is very rude and unhelpful .”

“This Hotel is a Gem”

The best

I was laid low with a bit of a cold, there were few rooms available in Burgos on a Saturday, when I booked Irunako. This place was perfect for sleep and restoration. Yes. It's in the middle of nowhere with little surrounding it, however, it's a 20 minute bus ride from Central Burgos on the no. 8 bus which you can get from GranTeatro, Burgos, and those buses run frequently and it's right next to the bus drop off. Just do what you need to do in Burgos then come back for your sleep and downtime. I had a very clean decent sized room, I booked a double room for 10 euros more than a single, and had ample room. I slept like a baby, there was no noise disturbance at all. The cherry on the cake was the hot bath power shower. The staff couldn't have made me feel more comfortable and welcome. On my morning cafe con leche, staff surprised me by adding in perfect joined up writing, 'Buen Camino', (pic attached) that's how lovely and thoughtful these people are. Everything was bountiful and generous. You've got everything you need here: nice bar, nice people, it was bustling with friendly people popping in to have something from the bar, it wasn't isolated in that sense and it was a good atmosphere. There was fresh food, made to order, available all day and evening and a separate restraunt for evening meals, with an excellent menu. Yes, it could do with some renovation in the rooms, but you get what you pay for, and in my opinion, I loved it so much here, I booked a second night! I highly recommend this hotel.

food tasty but over cooked very limited menu Service very poor. No welcome. Had to look for our serviettes at other end of the bar

Waiters need Front of House Training. Shouted a lot to others around the bar whilst serving us. Very limited menu hand written on a small piece if paper. No backup for staff Front of building Exceptional an inviting but Reception though good looking lacked staff present. No uniformed staff as absent and doing other duties.
