“Nice surprise on our way through Spain!”
The best

We stopped for one night in Hostal Rural Cumbres de Castilla after having driven for nearly 700km. We arrived late (around midnight) and Alvaro was there to meet us with a smile in his face. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Alvaro even gave us a choice of a different room, with a bigger bed. The breakfast was very good, simple but with tasty ingredients. We totally recommend this place if you are in the area!

The best

The best thing about the small family hotels in the middle of nowhere is their staff: always very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The traditional Spanish breakfast (toast, orange juice, fruit, and coffee) was quite nice.

To be improved

Very uncomfortable beds: both my friend and I had a very painful morning, unfortunately. And no power sockets near the beds either.

Álvaro and Ruth make you feel at home. They are generous with their time and recommendations and you will truly feel at a cozy and welcoming friend's house. This is a place full of charm and decorated with a good taste, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the location is just perfect. A great place if you want to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the great city or if you are travelling by car and exploring fab and hidden gems in Castilla la Mancha.
