“Excellent budget hostel choice”
The best

For a budget hostel, the place exceeded my expectations. The single room is small but perfectly manageable for one person, even with 2 suitcases. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and functional. Excellent air-conditioner and wi-fi. Zero noise from outside. Not perfectly soundproof regarding noise from the hall and other rooms (which is common in almost all similar hostels), but if other guests are quiet, your room will be quiet as well. It’s a quiet street but in a walking distance from many cites. Lovely small streets, cafes and restaurants nearby. Helpful and kind staff. Having a lift helps. If you are looking for an affordable place at the city centre, then this one offers very good value for money.

Nothing is luxurious here, but that is a given.

The best

Based on the price, one of the best value places I've ever stayed. Right in the centre of Madrid, just a few minutes walking to Gran Via, Sol, etc. Room was clean with nice spacious bathroom + shower. Staff also swapped my room to one with a balcony for no extra charge. Recommended!

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Madrid, just steps away from all the main landmarks. A special mention to the woman at the reception — she was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our check-in experience truly fantastic. A great start to our stay!

To be improved

Just one thing to keep in mind for summer travelers: there is no fridge in the room, which would have been helpful for keeping drinks cold. We were aware of this at the time of booking, so it's not a complaint — just a note for future guests and a small suggestion for the hotel.
