“The staff was very kind and helpful, we could leave our bags there after leaving the accommodation and even take a shower. The air conditioning could not be turned off, but they managed to close it in our room. The shared kitchen was equipped and we were given a hairdryer if we asked for it. · Cons: We are young, we were partying, and when we got to the hotel, the next day they often told us how loud we were, that others would sleep, even though we only laughed, we didn't shout and there was no music playing.”

“I liked there, the owner is super nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place! The location is great Our windows overlooked the courtyard. It was quiet and calm, despite the noisy city.”

“The street was very close to the water front. I was taken to my room by staff. · Cons: The building was very neglected and the outside was very dirty. There was a sex worker on either side of the front door as I approached, I am a single female traveller so I did not like this. I had arranged a late check in and when I arrived after 11pm on a Saturday night the door to the street was wedged open. So was the door to the reception area. There was a very strong smell of cleaning products in the room, in the bathroom it was overpowering. There were two plastic chairs on the small balcony. When I sat on the first one one of the legs gave way and I landed on the floor. I swapped them over and when I sat on that chair its leg gave out too and I banged my head and ear on the iron railings. When I examined the chairs I could see that this had happened before as the plastic was creased where the legs collapsed. Why were they still in use? The sheets and pillowcases on the bed had been washed but were stained and worn with use and did not look clean. There was the same thing with the towels but they looked worse, very discouloured as they had not had a hot enough wash......very poor. I was bittten every night by bed bugs by the time I came home I had 25 visable on my face and hands and more on the back of my neck and on my scalp and they are still showing up now ( thats how I know they were bed bugs and not mosquetos). THis was really horrible!”
