“Amazing Value!”
The best

Just a couple of minutes walk from the main square where the superb Basilica and amazing museums are and in the other direction, only a few minutes walk from El Tubo Tapas area. Hostal San Jorge is PERFECTLY located, has great access, a lift and always a smile and help from reception at all times of day. Simple, clean accommodation offering great value. Breakfast at 5€ is a voucher towards food & drink at a lovely modern cafe attached to a hotel 20 m away. Considerably discounted parking is offered by the Hostal at the INDIGO AYUNTAMIENTO PARKING under the main square and accessed just off the road along the river. You can pay at the property on check out...cost 15€ a day.

This is NOT a reflection on the Hostal but may save future visitors time. Our car sat nav could not find the car park and resulted in a long and quite stressful arrival in the city (did give my OH a tour of the sights though!) Maybe put both addresses into 2 separate devices ie Calle de Milagros de Callandre and the address from the carpark's website. We realised we needed to cross over the main bridge into the old town, turn left along the river (with the Basilica to our right) and its entrance is a couple of hundred metres along. Pick up a city map on way out of parking.
