“cuenca is my most favourite destination and I regard this as a serious substitute to meteora”
The best

it's the experience of staying in one of the original hanging homes, what else could you ask for? There is tons to see in this area with lots of stunning walks that are lit at night so you might want to stay a few days or return in the future, although the enchanted city is way out of reach from here, the nearby countryside in these parts of Cuenca town looks very similar and is just a step away from this hostal. You could potentially have a quick nature walk and be back in time for breakfast.

To be improved

the room service was a tad unnecessary. tell the old sport beforehand or you'll find him unexpectedly in your room, clean bedding each day and emptied bins aren't really that important.

The hosts were very accommodating. There was free coffee offered. The location is very nice and near most areas.

Although the room was nice, there was no air conditioning so it's not as comfortable during summer mornings/afternoon.
