The location was great. Easy access to Plaza Mayor and Sol Plaza/metro.

There was nothing not to like. We were actually pleasantly surprised when we entered Hostal Santa Cruz. This older building was very nicely renovated to make a comfortable stay. But most outstanding was its location.

To be improved

Madrid is very active until very late at night. If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs.
