“Great stay, will definitely be back!”
The best

Excellent location, close proximity to the beach and above a beutifully designed cafe. Staff were all very pleasant, food and drink was excellent. The room we stayed in was basic in terms of design, however the bathroom was very modern and in great condition. Beds and pillows were also very comfortable and good in quality, the room also had black out blinds so we had a great quality of sleep. Overall couldn’t fault it, we had a great stay and will most likely be returning at some point.

“Read room details as very basic facilities”
The best

We ‘assumed’ that the room would have a fridge and kettle but it didn’t so important lesson learnt for future. You get what you pay for. If you want a base then it is fine and this is reflected in the cost of the room. If you want a bit more then go for an apartment not hostel. Room was cleaned and fresh towels every day except Sunday. Bed comfortable. Bath is half uk size and more like an enlarged shower cubicle and shower itself is fine if a little erratic in direction. Air con was great and quiet. Some noise heard from other guests but this was only due to doors being unlocked or walking up stairs and no disturbances at 4am with parties etc. Noise from road not an issue ( can always take earplugs). Had very little contact with receptionist / owner but went in for breakfast one morning to cafe and waitress polite. When we walked in then our hearts dropped and we thought it could be a long 9 nights but it turned out better than we perhaps anticipated. Would we stay again - no as would pay extra for more facilities but as said earlier it is fine if room only and want to keep cost down.

“Somebody forgot about the penthouse”
The best

My wife and I have just returned after spending a week at the Hostal Santa Eulalia. The Hostal is located right on the busy main road through the town so expect it to be quite noisy most of the time. The staff here are friendly and the bar serving food and drink is good. My comments about our room are based on the penthouse which we occupied on the Fourth floor right at the top of the building. There is no lift in the Hostal so if you have problems with Four flights of stairs do not book the Penthouse. The penthouse apartment is very spacious and could easily cater for 6 adults there are 2 large double bedrooms, 1 small bedroom, huge living room and kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a spare room. It has air con in most rooms and several small balconies. As with a lot of Spanish apartments there is no kettle in the kitchen. The decor is comfortable and tiled throughout. While being comfortable at the time of our visit this apartment has clearly not been finished for this season. Beware, there are 1 or 2 sockets exposed Idid not put my finger in to see whether they were live but this is a clear safety hazard that needs to be put right immediately particularly if a child was present. Lights have been broken and not replaced. One of the bedroom doors has a huge crack in it and should be replaced immediately before the glass shatters. The shower rail in bathroom 2 is broken making it impossible not to spray water on to the floor. The kitchen looks out to an area where the boilers and air con power units sit right on top of the building. These will be screened by some wicker panels that were left rolled up in the kitchen throughout the entirety of our stay. The staircase immediately outside the apartment had building materials, cleaning materials and a step ladder left there for the whole week, these could easily cause an access problem and at worse an accident through somebody tripping over them. Building works had obviously been going on before hand on top as the apartment was covered in dust that just had not been cleaned. and ask for clean towels because the cleaner will not bother to come up to the Fourth floor to give you them. The people responsible for this apartment need to prioritise these points very quickly so if you are looking to book this apartment bare these things in mind.

“Good Stay”
The best

We went for one week to Ibiza and Santa Eulalia was the best place to stay. Very close from this residence we had loads of buses going everyday to different routes and different places of the island, not expensive at all. 10 min walking from this residence you have as well beach and around a long path full of restaurants. Coffee shops and bars on the residence street and mini markets where you can buy anything you need. Everyday we had someone going to our room to do the beds and change the bins.

“Nice stay in great location!”
The best

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of September. We arrived by taxi at 4am in the morning. The polite night guy checked us in and helped carry our cases up the stairs (there is no lift). When we first walked into the room it smelt quite musty but we worked out that it was the eiderdown and blanket that smelt so we put them on the balcony and opened up the doors to air the room. The room was a nice size and although the decor wasn't that great the room and bathroom were clean. The air con was great and we were not bothered by too much noise. We loved our little balcony and the location was near to everything, 5 mins to marina, 10 mins walk to beach and 5 mins to the street and square where most of the restaurants were. As this was a cheeky little extra break away we found the hostel to be perfect for our needs and at least half the price of most of the other hotels in santa eulalia. There is a Class car hire office 5 mins walk away too so we also hired a car to explore the island. We both agreed that we would definitely book here again! Just a tip, the hostal centrale in the Main Street (where the restaurants are) do delicious meals at a very reasonable price. We ate there 3 of our 5 nights and would definitely recommend. The restaurants on the marina looked lovely but were a lot pricier.
