“Pessima! / The Worst In my Life!”
The best

I have traveled a lot, but I have never had such a negative experience. Upon arrival I found dirty towels, one even stained with blood. During the following nights I could not get any sleep due to constant noise: alarms, bathroom pipes from the next room, loud television. The worst happened on my last night: when I returned to my room, I found huge cockroaches, even on the bed. I called the emergency number provided by the hotel three times, but no one ever answered. Past midnight, desperate, I had to leave the room alone and find another hotel in the city center, paying extra costs for both accommodation and parking, and losing my last night in the city. On top of this, there was a complete lack of communication: none of the staff speak English, forcing guests to use a translator even for urgent matters. A traumatic experience that ruined my trip. I would never recommend this property to anyone: poor hygiene, no assistance, no professionalism. Avoid at all costs.

“I have stayed at Tilos before so I knew it would be great. I arrived early (bus schedule being what it is) but my room was ready for early check-in. The location near the bus and train stations is perfect, the hostal is nice and clean and the Wifi connection very good.”

Very convenient to bus station.

To be improved

But a super Bare- bones hostal, no charm, no nice touches AT ALL. Way over priced for what it offers, but it can get away with this because Málaga is so over priced. I stayed there 3 or so years ago for 50 Euros. This July it was 80 Euros!! Really overpriced. Only worth it if you want to be near the bus station. But far from downtown ( a long walk in not a lovely neighborhood). Only worth staying there is you eant to be real near bus or train station. Otherwise, steer clear

Very close to train station (5 minutes walk) and good connection with the city center (buses 4 and 19).

To be improved

Very small twin room, even for 2 people, but manageable if you are coming for a quick visit.
