“Modern building within walking distance of the old town (although I didn't). I managed to park for free on the street very close by. · Cons: Thin walls allowed talking from other rooms to be heard so, together with some road noise, I had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.”

On 28th April I was stranded in Toledo on a day trip from Madrid due to the nationwide power outage . The proprietor could not have been more helpful , accommodating a party of 10 in very comfortable rooms , advised us where we could buy food and letting us picnic (!)in his breakfast room , only charging a very reasonably price when he could have profiteered from our situation . Breakfast was delicious too . Thank you Elvis ( yes his real name ) can’t recommend more highly

The best

Easy to park as I was in a van and street parking was available. The man on reception was very helpful. Excellent VFM. Didn't have much time to explore Toledo but what I saw looks great. Perfect stop off if driving down to the south coast from the ferries
