Great budget hotel in the city center. Very well located. I got a great spacious room with a nice ensuite bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Ok. This is an autonomous hotel. Namely they message you a combination of web site / code key numbers to get into the set of lovely rooms, with final access to a key for your room door and front door below. They even got my room done early so I could check in by 2pm instead of 4pm. Posh room with windows and lots of natural light and fresh air. Not on a busy street and close to many shops and restaurants, including a Ramen bar across the street. Lovely nights stay on the Camino del Norte.

First of all, “Hostal” in Spain doesn’t mean “hostel”, but a small, often family-owned hotel. My room was big and bright with a huge corner window, a comfortable bed and a big and modern bathroom with shower. The entry to the hotel via app went almost smoothly, one just needs a mobile signal and knowing that “portal” means a “building entry door” and that one needs to “slide”, not tap, the screen button. The owner speaks excellent English, replies very fast, helpful and polite. WiFi worked perfect. The location is super central and convenient to the bus station, both beaches and the rest.
