“Discrimination and Racism by employee volunteers Verena (from Germany) and Lidia (from Spain)”

Racism and Discrimination I Verena & Lídia This time I was greeted with discrimination and racism by their employees Verena (from Germany) and Lidia (from Spain). Verena is an extremely racist German. When she opened the door, I could see that there was no empathy on her side, because I'm black, yes, without a doubt. Many Germans can't see black people in front of them. Verena, extremely unfriendly, unprofessional and with a typical German coldness It was very hot, about 22 degrees, I asked her if she could give me a glass of water so I could take my medicine, to which she replied: "If you want, go to the kitchen or go to the end of the street and buy water at the super market, I don't have any water! I was shocked!The next day I was verbally attacked again by the maid Lidia screaming at me in horrible, horrible English with Spanish, accusing me in front of the other guests who were in the solarium on the terrace and could hear all the screams of this unbalanced character, accusing me of being illegal inside the Hostel. ", and called me by the name of : -Rita", which means she didn't even know who she was talking to...Rita has never been my name. Lidia threatened to call the police, claiming that I was in the hostel because I had friends... the barbarities got bigger and bigger and more absurd.Lídia's appearance is totally unkempt, she looks unkempt for a manager, she has a body odor and an oral odor that reveal a lack of daily hygiene. Not to mention the totally archaic choice of dress for a manager. The rural oral language and unbalanced body language reveal a lack of training and knowledge and a lack of emotional control. 20 years of traveling I have never been mistreated... much less discriminated against and threatened by the police! I reported the two employees, Lidia and Verena, for discrimination and racism to the responsible authorities in Spain / Canary Islands.

“Hostel to find cool people”

The best

It was a very cool experience, this hostel is ideal for people, who want to connect with others. The Terrasse on the roof is very nice and we even had a pizza Party up there, where I could meet with a lot of nice people! The manager made the pizzas and played the guitar, and the other staff were also very nice. The beds had 3 floors in my room and it wasn't the most comfortable since it moved a bit, but that's just the usual problem with these beds. I will come back for sure!

Very nice hostel, perfect location! It felt like home because of the volunteers who welcomed me and were always friendly :) Also nice terrace for hangouts.
