Everything- spacious room, helpful staff, lovely setting and places to sit and eat overlooking river. Hooks in shower good idea

The best

I loved this place! Great care taken during recent renovation to preserve the building’s various lives over the centuries. Rooms were clean; cloth fitted sheet provided (& flat sheets available to rent). Beautiful view of river!

Convenient location and well priced for our motorbiking tour. Appreciated the potential to use a washing machine and kitchen facilities (although we didn’t actually need them). The basement lounge was cool and comfortable with nice views over the river. Our room came with bedding and towels included in the price. Really helpful staff who gave recommendations of where to go and eat dinner in town.

To be improved

It had been an exceptionally hot day, and although a wall mounted fan was provided and worked non-stop during our stay, it did little to make the temperature in our top floor room more bearable.

“Good, Clean and Friendly”
The best

We stayed in a women’s 4 resin bunk room. Loved having our own toilet room and separate shower in the room. The beds had a plug and light. Very clean and good kitchen. The historic building was modernized yet held onto the historic architecture.

To be improved

Would be nice to have a community dinner offering.
