Very friendly staff, the room was very clean, everything worked properly. Excellent breakfast. We could park easily quite close.

This hotels policy is to ring with your time of arrival. Unfortunately, the day we was travelling to stay here , was the day that all of Spain and Portugal had the electricity off which meant no phones or GPRS. I did ring with an ETA but due to the GPRS not working and us diving on rural roads we was two hours late. I couldn’t contact the hotel as due to no electricity , there was no service on phones. When we arrived a local couple kindly showed us to the hotel , there was no reply and the hotel was unmanned, with no note on the door giving an indication on when the hotel would be open. The Spanish couple who took us to the hotel , spoke to neighbours who told them that Boone was at the hotel and they didn’t know when there would be , so after 5 mins this couple very kindly showed us to another hotel. The hotel refuse to refund our money , even though we their reception was locked and unmanned. Very poor as the hotel could have put a note on their door explaining when it would be open and ready for check in.
