“Find another hotel!!!!”
My god, what a mess. Room was disgusting, smelt stale/dirty, there was someone’s hair all over the bathroom, everything was old and falling to pieces, the carpets and rugs are broken/dirty and stained, I couldn’t stand it, we were booked to stay for 2 night but left after 1 night. Just terrible. The only thing I can say that wasn’t terrible is the staff are nice. The rest is appalling!
“Good hotel in need of a reservation”
Beautiful building, nice surroundings and convenient location. We stayed there as a part of Thomas Cook SOTC tour. Reception and food court was spacious and cozy. Elevators had a great view through the glass walls overlooking mountains. Surrounding was decent. Rooms were clean but dated and tired looking. Hallways were dirty and stained. Carpet was patched to cover worn out areas. Bathroom was clean and adequate but shower stalls were crammed and shower curtain was inadequate and small. Toilet was clean and seat had multiple functions. Bidet and dryer were plus for Europeans. Dinner was limited but adequate for a meal. Breakfast was bellow euro standard. Good shell but poor interior was detracting.
“Disappointed with this hotel, would not be my choice choice”
Stayed at hotel with Trafalgar tour. First impression not good, hallway carpets stained and areas were patched up. Room size was good but smelt musty , pull up blinds were broken and breakfast was very average. The hotel has potential but in need of some upgrading to bring up to a good standard
“Sorely in need of renovation”
This hotel is very much in need of renovation. Our room was acceptable but right outside our door the carpet had large holes in it. Our friends in the next room had several problems. The best part was the view from our window of the mountains. Would not stay here again.
“A hotel with good potential, yet shows its age”
I stayed one night at Hotel Abades Nevada Palace and had a mixed experience. It’s a large hotel with extensive facilities, including restaurants, a café, swimming pool, spa, gym, convention center, and parking — which is impressive at first glance. The reception and central area feel modern and well-maintained. However, once you access the hallways and rooms, it becomes clear that the hotel is old (and during my stay, it was undergoing renovations). It’s worth noting that the hotel is far from Granada’s city center — an Uber ride cost about 20 euros — but on the positive side, there’s a supermarket right next to the hotel. What bothered me the most was the condition of my room door: the wood was damaged, giving the impression that it had been previously forced open, which made me feel unsafe, especially since I was staying alone. The room, though spacious, had old furniture (bed, desk, and armchair) and a stale, closed smell, lacking a sense of freshness. The bathroom is well-equipped, though also outdated; a nice touch was the toilet with a Japanese-style cleaning system, which was an interesting plus. Overall, the hotel offers good infrastructure, but the rooms need renovation to match the quality of its common areas.
