Staff here are very professional. They help me to get rid of a trouble with a local people. Really appreciate it.

Everything was ok, but uninspiring. Staff dont appear interested and wallpaper in rooms is not for the feinthearted!!!!

It's a very clean and comfortable hotel.Staff are polite and helpful.Rooms are comfortable,very good facilities.The hotel bar is really good value,2.60 for 33 CL draught Estrella Galicia.Its location is superb,it's right in the centre of Bilbao,2-3 minutes walk from the Gran via.I would have no problem to recommend this hotel to friends.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel did not meet expectations for a 4-star property. The overall experience was underwhelming, mainly due to several issues that impacted comfort and rest. Firstly, the soundproofing was extremely poor. Noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms was clearly audible and we could hear shower of the neighbor, making it hard to relax or sleep peacefully. The room itself was uninspiring in terms of decor, lacking any charm or character. Additionally, we were surprised to find that a double bed wasn’t an option — instead, two single beds pushed together, which was far from ideal. The view from the window was directly into another building, offering no privacy and little natural light. The in-room amenities were also disappointing — only instant coffee provided, rather than a proper coffee machine like a Nespresso, which you would expect at this level. The air conditioning system was barely adjustable and quickly became noisy, making it more of a nuisance than a comfort. The shower was surprisingly cramped, despite there being enough space in the bathroom for a more generous layout. Breakfast was average at best and served in a basement room with no windows, which made for a rather gloomy start to the day. Breakfast time was quite short, especially for a weekend and during the holidays. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and the bed was poorly made each day. Moreover, staff in the corridors were often loud in the mornings, adding to the noise problem. Overall, the hotel felt dated and in need of renovation. The only real positive was its central location, close to the metro and convenient for exploring the city. However, given the price and star rating, I expected much better. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

As our introduction to Northern Spain, we were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and had a fabulous breakfast. The location is excellent with an easy walk to the Guggenheim as well as the old town. I highly recommend for a few days in Bilbao.
